When the industrial business unit of Standard Register was established, the Industramark name and logo were not simply pulled from a hat. Following many hours of intense research and dozens of name and logo iterations by team members and business-to-business branding experts, the Industramark brand was born. What does it all mean? Let’s break it down…
The name, Industramark, is a combination of "industrial" and "marking." These represent our core customer base—industrial manufacturers—and our core capabilities—a suite of marking products and services.
The Industramark logo features the brand name with two "arrow" graphics. The arrows on the logo represent the dynamic activity of both Industramark and our customers. They are pointing at each other to illustrate the coming together of two companies to produce a highly effective partnership. The arrows are also indicative of speed and flow, reflecting a key aspect of our value proposition: Simplifying our customers’ processes, increasing their line speed and creating Lean workflows.

The colors have meaning as well. The blue represents our connection to the corporate brand—Standard Register—and the green represents Industramark’s eco-friendly, or "green" initiatives—to be environmentally conscious in all facets of our business.
The tagline "efficiency. compliance. distinction." represents our core competencies:

Vice President and General Manager, Industramark
For nearly 100 years, Standard Register has been providing a wide range of products and services with the singular goal of satisfying our customers’ business needs. Yet, as companies continue to mature, their business needs change—this is particularly relevant in industrial manufacturing. Every day, manufacturers are faced with a variety of changes and challenges, from business expansions and consolidations to the growth of product lines to disruptions along the supply chain, not to mention today’s volatile economy.
In 2009, SR is undertaking a major initiative that will provide the company with a laser-like focus on the manufacturing industry and help us to provide manufacturers with the tools they need to grow their businesses and save bottom-line dollars. That initiative is the formation of Industramark™, a Standard Register business unit.
Created as a direct result of comprehensive and thorough strategic planning, Industramark helps manufacturers reduce the total cost of ownership of all printed production parts, consolidate suppliers, assure agency compliance and increase productivity, all through the deployment of our dedicated industrial team, processes and technology. As a business unit of SR, Industramark is able to leverage the power of an established public company while operating within a clearly-defined and targeted market, all to the benefit of our customers.
The Industramark team is comprised of sales and customer service representatives dedicated to understanding and serving the needs of industrial manufacturing customers; dedicated account implementation resources; marketing and communications; product management; engineers committed to helping manufacturers improve operations and develop new solutions to their issues; and manufacturing and supply chain partners whose production capabilities are perfectly aligned to manufacturing product needs.

Since our team all comes from within Standard Register, we are not losing the benefit of the years we’ve already experienced in satisfying customer needs. We are now organizationally aligned in order to ensure we focus on understanding the challenges manufacturers face, and creating and delivering solutions to help them compete more effectively. Simply put, manufacturers will realize efficiency through the removal of waste from the manufacturing process; compliance through reduced risk of product liability claims; and distinction through the latest product decoration technology.
Industramark operates printing facilities in Dayton, Ohio and Tampa, Fla. As a part of SR, the business unit has a wealth of printing resources spread across the country, including a total of 23 digital print facilities, five rotary plants, 22 warehouses and additional label printing capabilities at its Radcliff, Ky. facility.
The business unit also operates a 30,000-square-foot production and service facility in Monterrey, Mexico. This facility, which provides customers with label printing, warehousing, kitting, digital on-demand printing and multiple other services, supports customers by offering a one-stop shop for a complete range of printed production parts as well as access to an extensive distribution network that services all major industrial areas of Mexico.
