
Joseph P. Morgan, Jr. was appointed president and chief executive officer of Standard Register in January 2009. He was also elected to a seat on SR’s Board of Directors. Morgan is responsible for championing the growth of the company as an industry-leading document services provider.
Prior to serving as acting CEO from September 2008, Morgan served as executive vice president and chief operating officer, from April to September 2008, with responsibility for driving execution on operational strategy and ensuring achievement of growth targets through SR’s direct and alternative sales channels.
Previously Morgan held the role of managing Standard Register’s On Demand Solutions Group, in addition to serving as chief technology officer for the company. He became CTO in 2003. He began with SR as president and chief executive officer of SMARTworks in 2001. Prior to joining SMARTworks, he served as president of eflatbed.com, where he led the creation of an online logistic management solution.
Morgan previously served as president and chairman of the board of Sony Chemical Corporation of America, where he led the company through the start-up and development of its first integrated manufacturing operation outside of Japan. He has also served in an executive position with FLEXcon, a manufacturer of pressure-sensitive film products and labeling materials.
Morgan holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass., a bachelor’s in chemical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and an MBA from Clark University in Worcester.

Bob is responsible for guiding the company’s financial strategy, planning and financing. He joined the company in 1992 and progressed through a series of operational finance roles, achieving his current position in 2008. Prior to SR, he served as controller for Shaw-Barton in Coshocton, Ohio for six years.
Ginnan is a certified management accountant and holds an MBA from Ashland University in Ohio. He earned undergraduate degrees in accounting and information technology from The Ohio State University.

As president of Standard Register’s Industrial business unit, Tom Furey leads the company’s effort to serve the manufacturing industry. He is responsible for the Strategy, Product Development, Marketing, Sales and Supply Management for this market.
Previously, Furey was chief supply chain officer and vice president and general manager of the Document and Label Solutions business unit until November 2008. He was responsible for Manufacturing, Supply Management, Distribution and Logistics for that unit. He also managed Engineering, Sourcing and Procurement for Standard Register. Furey joined Standard Register in 2004 as vice president of Manufacturing.
Prior to joining Standard Register, he held operations management positions with Avery Dennison. Leveraging Six Sigma and implementing Lean Manufacturing, he and his team helped drive industry-leading quality and productivity at his operations. Before that, Furey held operations positions with Allied Signal/Honeywell. Still earlier in his career, he served in the U.S. Navy as an operational test director and as a naval flight officer.
Furey holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics/Computer Science from the U.S. Naval Academy and a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from California State University. He also earned a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

As president of Standard Register’s Healthcare business unit, Brad Cates leads the company’s effort to serve acute care facilities, ambulatory care providers and managed care organizations in the U.S. He is responsible for the Strategy, Product Development, Marketing, Sales and Supply Management for this market.
Previously, as vice president of Sales and Marketing, he led SR’s nationwide Sales organization. He was responsible for branding and marketing strategy and execution. He oversaw market research, product management, channel marketing and corporate communications.
Cates previously held various sales and management positions within the company, including vice president, Strategic Accounts, regional sales manager and director of business development. He joined Standard Register in 1994.
Cates earned a Bachelors of Arts and Sciences degree in journalism and business from Indiana University. He also holds an MBA from Kennesaw State University. In addition, he has completed the executive management program at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Gerry Sowar provides guidance and support to all levels of Standard Register in the areas of compliance and legal affairs. Sowar joined Standard Register in 2003. Prior to that he was a partner at Chernesky, Heyman & Kress, a Dayton law firm. He holds a law degree from the University of Toledo and a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Dayton.
Mr. Clarke is Chairman of Clarke-Hook Corporation.

F. David Clarke, III, has served on Standard Register's board since 1992. He is chair of the executive committee and is a member of the audit committee. Clarke is also chairman of Clarke-Hook Corporation, a fully-integrated commercial real estate development firm in suburban Washington D.C. Clarke earned his law degree from the University of Dayton and his bachelor's from Villanova University in Pennsylvania.
Mr. Bailis retired as Senior Executive Vice President of First Data Corporation in late 2007.

Laura Bates oversees Standard Register’s Internal Audit department. Her team reviews the adequacy and effectiveness of controls, governance and risk management processes. They are responsible for evaluating the accuracy and reliability of financial statements, effectiveness and efficiency of operations, and compliance with laws and regulations. Bates joined Standard Register in January 2003.
Bates has over 20 years experience in conducting financial, operational, and compliance audits. Previously she held positions with Arthur Andersen LLP and a Fortune 200 integrated energy company.
She earned her degree in Accounting from Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and an Associate Member of the Certified Fraud Examiners.

As president of Standard Register’s Commercial business unit, Jerry Beigel leads the company’s effort to serve the financial services, retail, government and emerging markets. He is responsible for the Strategy, Product Development, Marketing, Sales and Supply Management for this market.
Prior to joining Standard Register, Beigel held the positions of senior vice president for Commercial Sales as part of the Elsevier business unit at Reed Elsevier, as well as vice president LexisNexis Corporate Markets. In his most recent assignment at Reed Elsevier, Beigel developed the five-year business strategy for the Commercial pharmaceutical business, and significantly grew Elsevier Commercial pharmaceutical market share in a tough economic market.
Before that, Beigel held sales leadership positions with Sun Microsystems where he spent two years leading a sales, technical, and channel organization in the sale of data management solutions. Prior to Sun he spent 20 years at Xerox Corporation where he held numerous senior leadership positions including vice president and general manager Northern Calif., general manager, Global Accounts, and other key leadership roles in sales, marketing and product management. In his roles at Reed Elsevier, Sun and Xerox, Beigel played a key role in transforming the organizations from a product to a solutions and services orientation.
Beigel earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and public administration from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He also holds an MBA from DePaul University. In addition, he has completed continuing education programs at Northwestern Kellogg Business School, Stanford Executive Program, Columbia University Executive Development Program, and Leadership Development Training at the Center of Creative Leadership in Greensboro, N.C.
Tracy Cole serves as vice president of Client Satisfaction for Standard Register. She is responsible for corporate client relations and is accountable for programs and support operations that drive customer satisfaction and client loyalty. The organization includes three customer support centers, client relations, implementation services, design services, sales operations and reporting & analytics.
Prior to her role as vice president, Cole served in leadership roles in accounting, document consulting, strategic accounts, and implementation services. With over 20 years of experience, she has managed large-scale customer projects and has led strategic initiatives around the transformation of Standard Register’s approach to servicing customers.
Cole graduated cum laude from Arkansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

Joanne Cummins was named CIO in November 2008. She is responsible for all aspects of technology operations and investments for Standard Register’s customer-facing and corporate applications. The organization includes enterprise architecture, business consulting, information security, development and quality assurance.
Previously Cummins had been the company’s key technology leader since 2005. Under her leadership, the company ranked #6 on the InformationWeek 500 in 2007. She joined Standard Register in 2003.
Cummins brings over 20 years of experience with an emphasis on large-scale software development, client and program management for business and customer solutions. Prior to joining Standard Register, Cummins held technology positions with National City Mortgage and Kanga Multimedia, Inc.
Earlier, she spent over a decade of her career with LexisNexis both in the U.S. and Europe. She joined LexisNexis in 1988. Cummins holds a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from The Ohio State University.

As Vice President of Supply Chain for Standard Register, Greg Greve is responsible for driving an enterprise-wide strategy for raw material and finished product acquisition, inventory planning, freight management and vendor management. His organization is also chartered to drive relationships with Supply Chain partners to provide the highest quality, lowest cost source of supply, as well as alternative channels to market for the products and services Standard Register provides. The Supply Chain organization utilizes ISO certified processes and strives to achieve quality performance in all that it does utilizing the principles of Lean/Sigma.
Greve joined Standard Register in 2006 as Vice President, Sourcing. Prior to joining Standard Register, he held various management consulting positions with CSC Consulting, where he managed Supply Chain and Technology strategy engagements with multi-national manufacturers and retailers. Greve began his career and spent more than ten years with Dow Chemical where he provided business/economic analysis and managed supply chain operations in the Plastics and Hydrocarbons business units.
Greve holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a dual major in Marketing and Transportation as well as Logistics Management from The Ohio State University.

Joe Klenke oversees all of Standard Register’s manufacturing operations across the country: 23 digital, five rotary and two label facilities, as well as 22 warehouses. Previously he served as general manager of Print On Demand Services.
Over the span of his 24-year career with SR, Klenke has taken on a variety of roles in Operations, Customer Service, Marketing and Sales as: VP Client Services, VP Field Operations, director of Marketing and director, Healthcare National Accounts. He joined the company in 1985 in Sales.
Klenke holds a B.A. in Marketing and Management from Wilmington College in Wilmington, Ohio.

As Vice President, Organizational Effectiveness, Amy Reilly is responsible for providing the design and implementation of all human resources strategies, policies and processes including leadership and organization development, labor relations, facilities, security, compensation and benefits, staffing, and affirmative action/diversity. Reilly also works closely with the CEO, Board of Directors and the Governance & Compensation Committees on executive compensation and development processes for the organization.
Reilly began her career with Standard Register in 1994 and has held a variety of HR leadership positions with the company. Prior to her experience at Standard Register, Reilly was an Account Executive for Entre' The Human Resource, a HR Consulting firm.
Reilly earned her Bachelors degree in Communications from Bowling Green State University.

Jeff Strasser serves as vice president of Channel Development and Strategic Alliances for Standard Register. He and his team are focused on building new strategic alliances and alternate channels for the company’s products, services and technology.
Strasser joined SR in 2002, as the company’s vice president of Marketing. Previously Strasser worked for Formica Corporation, Harte-Hanks, Inc., Eastman Kodak Company, Broadwing, Inc., and at The Reynolds and Reynolds Company.
Strasser graduated from Miami University’s Farmer School of Business in Oxford, Ohio with a BSBA in Marketing and Advertising. He also holds an MBA in Business Economics and International Business from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio.
